How you doin?! My staff and I are participating in AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer. AVON 39 is a weekend you've never had before. This important event takes place over 2 days and asks you to give everything you've got by walking 39.3 miles. That's right, it's a real challenge, and it requires commitment, willpower and a certain kind of spirit that our Wendy Watchers can deliver!
I want you to join me as I take on this exciting challenge – so grab your friends and get training! So many of our friends, sisters, daughters and mothers have been lost to breast cancer, and we've been putting up with this for way too long. It's time we do something about it. It's time to accept the challenge and help crush breast cancer once and for all.
By joining us in this effort, you’re making life better for breast cancer patients in your community and across the nation. AVON 39 “Coaches” will support you every step of the way – and on the road to 39, no matter how far you walk, you’ll crush fear, doubt and breast cancer – one persistent step and donation at a time. Now come on and Earn Your 39!
Events will take place in seven cities across the U.S. in 2015 – Houston, Washington D.C., Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and New York – and we want YOU to register . Register now. Click here or call 1-888-540-WALK. Use Promo code 'WendyShow' when you register, and you'll receive $10 off the $50 registration fee.
Each 39er commits to raising at least $1,800 in order to participate. But take note - our first-time Walkers on average raise $2,400 or more!
AVON 39ers have banded together since 2003 in solidarity with one goal: to take breast cancer down.
207,000 39ers got off the couch, strapped on their shoes, and earned their 39.
6,868,000 equals the number of miles trekked by 39ers who went the distance to stomp out breast cancer.
$550,000,000 was raised by people dedicated to ending breast cancer forever.
