Come see the Dance Works 2015 Fundraiser Showcase with special guests including Ballets With A Twist, Jinah Parker, local program and studio companies such as Brava Dance, Breaking Ground Dance Center, Danse Elite, City Center Dance, Magical Movements, Dance Works and more!

On Sunday, March 22 at 4pm, the curtain will go up at the Dunn PAC at Rye Country Day and 125+ dancers will come together to perform incredible works of art in a diversity of dance idioms ranging from ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, tap and more.  Tickets are $25 each.  Group rates are available.  You may purchase by donating directly to this website, email [email protected] and pick up your tickets at Will-Call.  If you are unable to attend this event, I hope you will consider making a small donation to support one of the causes most meaningful to you.  

The money raised from this performance and webpage will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation who disburses funds to help end the cycle of domestic violence and provide assistance to families in need by funding such programs as My Sister's Place and in the past have supported Joe Torre's Safe at Home program among many other much needed programs. Money raised for the Breast Cancer crusade is to help provide access to breast cancer care for those who need it most, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures.   

Every 9 seconds a woman in the US is assaulted or beaten.  Around the world, at least one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise.  Nearly 1 in 5 teenage girls who have been in a relationship said a boyfriend threatened violence or self-harm if presented with a break-up.  Studies estimate up to 10 million children witness violence and abuse in their homes each year.  You can help make a difference.
