2017: AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer: Boston

Young Guns

Hi everyone and welcome to the Young Guns team page!! Our team consists of eight 15 and 16 year olds from a small town in Southeastern Massachusetts. We have all been affected by breast cancer in some way, whether it be grandmother, mother, aunt, cousin or friend. Being the youngest team in the walk is empowering, and we feel honored to be representing such a good cause.

While we know that this will not be easy by any means, we feel that our participation gives off a strong message: No matter how young you are, you can still make a difference. 39 miles in 2 days will be grueling, but it will no doubt be worth it.

We've each made a big commitment. We’ll spend the next few months training to prepare for something so unlike anything we have ever been put through before. Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations, or around $15,000 as a group. But because we're in this together, we know that, with your help, we can do SO much more than that.

We are counting on you to support our team. You can make a donation to any team member by clicking on their name, and you’ll be taken to their personal page. If you'd prefer to write a check, just contact one of us and we'll send you the form and information.

Thank you in advance for your donations, and don't forget to #THINKPINK!
