Last year was a year of pain, worry, but also of hope and love.  The outpouring of love and support from friends around the world helped me get through this second bout with the demon disease. No cancer is a picnic, but when you have been through it once, you know what is coming and it makes it just a bit harder.  

I was tired, exhausted, it was tough to walk across the room, but then someone would send me a card, or a loving email. Amazing how that lifted me up. So if you know someone who is facing this disease, please remember to send them loving notes, emails, or just a quick phone call. 

I hope you will join me in the journey to continuing research through the Avon Foundation for Women. Yes, I will try to walk this year (I did walk a little last year, but it was really tough), but regardless of the miles, it is the generous donations you give that help valuable research continue. 

Again, every donation is special, every. single. one! Please give generously. You all touch my heart with your continuing support, but I'd like to see this disease solved before I leave this earth, so let's get it done!
