I started this quest for a cure with the Avon Foundation in 2005. It has been fulfilling and it has also been frustrating. We are getting closer to a cure and prevention…. but each year we are still losing people that we love to this disease.
I come to you again and ask you to help me to get further along the road to a cure and a prevention. We are not only funding valuable research, but along the way we are helping to provide so many with the breast care they need and would not have had without us.
For every walker: 12 women can get a mammogram; 72 research labs can purchase critical supplies for cutting edge research; 9 breast cancer patients can receive necessary diagnostic test; or 24 newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients can get counseling or support.
We believe that we can be the generation that stops Breast Cancer!
