Dear Friends and Family,

I lost my own mother to her battle with breast cancer when I was 8...she was only 30 years old!  After a 2 year fight, God gained a beautiful angel on July 31, 1971!   One of the many reasons why I am walking is Maida Clement Dent, my mother.  This walk is my way of telling her that I love her and in my way thanking her for everything she did for  me since I was too young to do this before she passed away.

I will do my part and walk 39 miles and all you have to do is help support my fundraising efforts!!  In 2016, I personally raised $2,000 and my team, The Treasured Chests, raised over $300,000, all funds raised by our dedicated AVON 39 participants are distributed by the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade to local, regional and national breast cancer organizations to support breast cancer education, screening and diagnosis, access to treatment and support services, and life-saving research
