Hello my friends and family... On July 9th and 10th I will be walking 39.3 miles along with my team the Treasured Chests. I am walking for my friend Sharon who is a 3 year breast cancer surviver and I am walking for my mom who is almost at a year and is by far the strongest person that I know. Last year my mom had a double mastectomy on March 2nd and you never would have known that anything was even wrong. She not only came home from the hospital the day after surgery but she went back to work 3 weeks after surgery. My mother is truely amazing and I only hope that I can be half the person that she is. I am doing just a small part in raising funds to find a cure and doing a little walking. The men and women that battle this horrible disease everyday are the real heros.
