First and foremost, thank you so much for visiting my Avon 39 Walk page.  I am making this journey in memory of a wonderful, compassionate, loving, mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend, Chrissy Handy.  Over the years, there is one thing that Chrissy always did to make anyone feel welcomed and loved and that was her SMILE.  Even though this will not be an easy task for me to walk 39 miles in two days, nothing can compare to what Chrissy and so many others fighting breast cancer have gone or will go through.  

The money I raise will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those that most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures, such as those for stage four breast cancer. I will be just one of thousands of people that will walk 39 miles over the June 24th-25th weekend, raising awareness of the cause and educating even more people. 

I cannot do it without your help. Though my goal is to raise at least $1,800 in donations, I want to raise much more!!
