78,000 STEPS CLOSER – ONE STEP AT A TIME – AVON 39

  For the past 2 years, my amazing niece has shown remarkable determination and grit fighting her cancer. She is tenacious and loving and funny and spunky; and sometimes I believe that she could actually scare the daylights out of her cancer and finally rid herself of this grueling disease. 

  But she, as do many of our beloved friends and family members, need our help!

   This is why I am participating in the AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer in Boston.  I will be just one of thousands of people bonding together in solidarity as we walk 39 miles over the weekend this June to stomp out cancer.  It will be a challenge; but nothing compares to how much our loved ones struggle with this horrible disease every single day.  And I can’t do this without YOU.

I’m required to raise at least $1,800 to EARN MY 39, but I plan to raise much more! I hope that I can count on your support. 

I will also be holding a raffle the day after the walk.  For anyone donating $39 or more, you will automatically be registerd to win one of three gifts made by me: First prize is a comforter/quilt.  The second prize is an elegant hand-made necklace.  And the Third prize is a hand-dyed silk scarf.
