With devastating changes in our federal government and the near-certain (and likely imminent) withdrawal of federal funding from clinical research programs and subsidized health care programs, I'm looking for any way I can to make sure forward progress in breast cancer research and treatment doesn't stop.
For families affected by diseases like breast cancer, the political becomes personal. Generations of women in my family have been fortunate enough to receive breast health screening and care--and the peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that this sort of care won't break the bank. Other families are not--and will not be-- so fortunate.
AVON 39 helps fund research, awareness, and education while providing assistance for families currently battling breast cancer.The organization supplies much needed screenings and treatment to detect breast cancer early and stop it in its tracks. No individual or family should have to battle breast cancer alone, and I'm walking to do the small part I can to show support, and--more importantly, raise critical funds.
I am required to raise at least $1,800 to EARN MY 39, but I plan to raise much, much more! I hope that I can count on your support!
