When my neighbor and friend asked me to be a part of her team to beat breast cancer, the answer was easy.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago.  With 3 young children ages 2, 4, and 6 she fought courageously and with such grace.  She was an inspiration to us all.  With the surgery and chemo behind her she decided she wanted to do something to give back, and I am honored to be part of her team. I am participating in AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer. It won’t be easy, but that’s why it's worth it. As I walk through one of my favorite places, I will also be thinking of my many friends that have fought this terrible disease, and my friend Jennifer that left us much to earlier after a very courageous battle.  

From now until AVON 39 weekend, I’ll train to strengthen my body to walk over 39 miles in two days. I’ll also be raising funds to crush breast cancer. This is where you come in.

I am required to raise at least $1,800 to EARN MY 39, but I plan to raise much, much more! I hope that I can count on your support!
