Hi! I'm Zaphillia Yost and this is my 5th year on the Youth Crew. I love participating in the walk because of the inspirating stories of people who have survived breast cancer and because breast cancer has affected my life as well. My grandma is a three time survivor of breast cancer and I saw how difficult it was for her to go through that suffering not once but three times. I participate to help find a cure so that no one else's grandma, mother, sister or aunt has to go through what my grandma did. I also this year am participating for my best friends mom who is also a survivor of breast cancer. I hope to raise at least $1000 dollars in hopes that it helps find a cure. The youth crew plays an important role in the walk because we cheer on the walkers as they walk 39.3 miles. Seeing the smiles on the walkers faces as they see us cheering them on always makes me smile. I hope that you will support me by donating so that we can find a cure to breast cancer.
