Straight Outta New Canaan

-- and straight into California!

Everyone on our team has participated in at least one NYC Avon39 Walk -- and loved every minute of the training and the event.  Fighting -- and sometimes losing -- the battle with cancer, is debilitating for both the victim and her loved ones.  The feeling of taking charge, taking positive action, empowers us individually and has created a unique team bond as well.

We each have our reasons for participating -- whether it’s a personal battle with breast cancer, the struggle or loss of a loved one, or a deep commitment to the cause.  We commit to training -- you can solve all the world's problems during a 10-mile training walk :) -- and we each pledge to raise $1,800.

With your amazing generosity, SONC has been one of the Top 10 fundraising teams in NYC for each of the past two years, raising over $55,000 in 2016 alone.  We are similarly ambitiious for 2017!

We hope we can count on your support again this year!  Our names are listed to the right of our team page.  You can click any individual and donate toward her pledge on her personal page.  To support the whole team, you can donate toward the SONC goal between now and mid-August, when team fundraising shuts down.  If you'd prefer to write a check, just contact one of us and we will send you the relevant paperwork.

Thank you so much for your donation!  And if you see us on the road in New Canaan, please give us a little beep of encouragement!

XOXO from Straight Outta New Canaan
