Dear friends!
First and foremost…. Thank you for the many years for supporting the Avon Walk to Cure Breast Cancer! This year I am again walking with my group SLO Hooters in Santa Barbara the weekend of September 9-10, 2017. This year I have included a pink ribbon in my mailed letters. These symbolize our family, friends as well as our personal struggles with the beast that is breast cancer. My dear friend and constant inspiration, Nancy, was diagnosed for the second time. She will be part of our crew and keep us on our toes (feet) as Wanda. Wanda usually wears neon pink fishnet tights and and wild and crazy enthusiastic smile as she hands out chocolate to tired walkers-- what a gal! You can keep the ribbon and iron it on your pack, shirt or other item of your choosing or return it to me! Either way I will show your support!
Avon has made it easy easy to pledge either online. If you prefer to mail in your donation, you can print the coupon from Avon39.org or I can send one to you-- just let me know! I can also send you a pink ribbon at the same time!
