Hello friends!
As you may or may not know…I’ll be turning the BIG 40 in March!! I am currently in the process of making a list of 40 things I want to do/accomplish/experience during my 40th year of life. One thing that I’ve wanted to do for a few years now is to walk in the Avon 39 (I’m going to add an extra mile on to make it 40!). Avon 39 is a walk to end breast cancer.
My dear friend Jill Dressell lost her mom too early to this cancer. I will be walking beside her because I want to kick cancers ass for our sisters, friends, moms and daughters. I’ll be walking in honor of Jill’s mom and my second cousin, Mary, who also lost her life battling breast cancer.
The walk is in September and we will be traveling to Santa Barbara to complete 39.3 miles in 2 days!
I am required to raise at least $1,800 to EARN MY 39, but I plan to raise much, much more! I hope that I can count on your support!

I’m walking with thousands of other 39ers. We’re banding together in solidarity and have one goal: to take breast cancer down. So many sisters and mothers and friends have been lost.
