We are a group of ardent supporters and fans of our dear friend, Heather Stefanski! Heather was diagnosed in early June with lobular cancer, and had a single mastectomy a few weeks ago. And starts Chemo and then radiation this month.
For those of you that don’t know Heather, she doesn’t have time for all this cancer stuff…Heather loves to work hard, she loves to play hard, and is one of the fittest people that we know. Heather is strong, courageous, and she is out to eradicate this disease and make it so that future individuals, and people who have few or no resources, can just one day “take a pill” and eradicate breast cancer !! Heather has a lot of hiking to do with her boys, planes to catch, and work to get back to!!! We are going to walk with fire in our bellies for Heather, and she will be walking with fire too, with the new, beautiful LEFTY STEFANSKI in tow!!!
Heather doesn’t do anything half-assed…our goal is to raise $50,000 and WE KNOW WE CAN DO IT WITH YOUR HELP!!!!
Heather hates flowers…she wants ALL money that you would put into meals/flowers/goodies to go toward A CURE!!! Trust me, she would give the flowers to neighbors, pass along cakes and yummy stuff to a homeless shelter…the best gift you can give to Heather is to show her that you are behind her in funding the research for THE CURE!!! Heather and all of Team Lefty Stefanski will appreciate ANY contribution, small or large and we know that your contributions will give Heather fuel, motivation and inspiration during these days of chemo and radiation…it will give her the lift she needs to get thru this…Heather is a person who has inspired EACH one of us with her compassionate heart and generous, generous support of so many causes throughout her life! The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade qualifies under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Launched in 1992, the Crusade is affiliated with the Avon Foundation for Women.
