Welcome, and thank you for visiting The A-Team's AVON 39 team page!
We all know that there's strength in numbers, so it’s with great strength that we’ll work and walk toward putting an end to the suffering caused by breast cancer. We each have our reasons for participating, but all of us share a deep commitment, love and respect for our friend, Ann Mizes, who courageously fought breast cancer for nearly 20 years. She taught us all so much about character, strength, beauty and love and was a constant source of inspiration for all that knew her. Everyone on this team has been personally touched by breast cancer through Ann as well as other family members and friends. We walk in Ann's honor and in support of all of our other affected friends and family.
We've each made a big commitment. We’ll spend the next few months training to prepare for a walk of up to a marathon and a half. Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations. But because we're in this together, we know that, with your help, we can do it.
Please support our team. You can make a donation to any team member by clicking on their name, and you’ll be taken to their personal page. If you'd prefer to write a check, just contact one of us and we'll send you the form and information.
Please check back here frequently to see how we're doing, and thanks in advance for your support!
