Welcome, and thank you for visiting our AVON 39 team page,Walkers for Knockers!
This will be our fourth year walking
together as a team, and it has been nothing less than an amazing and memorable
experience of a lifetime. We have shed many tears of joy, laughter and
sadness together and last years walk was no exception. We each have our own
personal reasons for participating - - whether it’s a personal fight with
cancer, the struggle or loss of a loved one, or a deep commitment to the
cause. We all know that there's strength in numbers, so it’s with great
strength that we’ll work and walk toward putting an end to the suffering caused
by breast cancer.
We've each made a huge commitment. We’ll spend
the good part of 2017 fundraising and training. Each team member is
required to raise at least $1,800 in donations, however we are all committed
to raising more for this wonderful cause. But because we're in this
together, we know that, with your help, we can do it.

About Avon Breast Cancer Crusade
The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade qualifies under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Launched in 1992, the Crusade is affiliated with the Avon Foundation for Women. The Crusade’s philanthropic commitment is to enable access to medical advances and support services for breast cancer patients, particularly those from vulnerable populations, and to invest in research on the prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of breast cancer. Funding is awarded to beneficiaries ranging from leading cancer centers to community-based breast health programs for awareness and education; screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services; and scientific research.
