I am excited to be participating in my 13th Avon 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer. This year, I am again the Basecamp 39 Division Leader. In this position, I am responsible for the overall operation of the Base Camp 39. The Base Camp 39 is where the walkers finish their first day of walking, rest, have dinner, shower, get medical attention, and enjoy each others company. In addition, the crew and staff also rest here for the night.
To add to my excitement again for the 5th year, my soon to be 14-year-old son Ethan has been accepted to be on the Avon 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer Youth Crew! I am very proud to be crewing with Ethan and for both of us to have this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Ethan is doing his own fundraising and is doing very well! Last year, Ethan was able to raise over $4,700 by himself.
It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause - you can make a donation by clicking DONATE NOW. Whatever you can give will help! Did you know that with your help in the previous 12 years, I have been able to raise over $53,000!
Ethan and I have tried hard to keep our fundraising contact lists separate but if you happen to have received emails from both of us – PLEASE donate to Ethan. Any duplicate contacts are due to technical difficulties and we would never ask you to donate to both of us.
