Friends & Colleagues,
PLEASE READ TO THE END AS THERE IS A KICKER THIS YEAR!!!!!
I know that times are tough, but CANCER DOESN'T CARE.
Everyone knows someone that has been affected by breast cancer.
With that in mind, I’ve committed to participating in the Avon 39 for the 11th year and for the 10th time - as a Crew Team Leader. It’s a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next 2 months coordinating the walk logistics to support the 4,000+ walkers with my fellow Crew members. A ton of hard work, but so meaningful as we take care of EVERYTHING so that the walkers can participate in the 2 day walk. We even sleep in tents on Randall’s Island!
Although I’m NOT required to raise any money, I have committed to raise at least $5,000 in donations, and I hope to raise much more!
GREAT NEWS - my wonderful company (Edrington) will double match the money I raise. So help me get to that figure so we donate a total of $15,000!
THE KICKER - If I reach my goal of $5,000 by October 1, 2017 ..... I will SHAVE MY HEAD. Not the crew cut that occurred 2yrs ago - but SHAVE!
You can make a donation to my fundraising campaign by clicking on "Donate Now" on the right side of this page.
As MANY of you know, I am participating as a Crew member in honor of our dear friend and neighbor, Robin Holstein who lost her battle with this awful disease on August 19, 2007:

Once again, I will be participating as part of team alongside Robin's Husband (Casey), brother (Bill) and nephew (Matt).
I can’t do this without your help and I want to thank you in advance for any support!
Warm regards,
Marc
