I am participating in AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer !There are many reasons why I walk. I am a 16 year survivor with 3 children and a grandchild on the way. I hope breast cancer is history before any of them should recieve the diagnosis. It took so much from our lives physically, mentally financially, BUT it didn't take me! The Avon 39 walk raises funds, but even more so awareness is raised, people are educated. For 2 days we all walk, cheer and crew as one.A couple of years ago I met a special person, Liz. Her breast cancer had metastisized throughout he body, she is young and has a great family and support sysytem. Liz did the walk for a few years, started he own team" 4oreever" and raised a ton of money. I did not see Liz last year, but her team was there. Her spirit and enthusiasm refreshes me every time I think I may not do the walk.Please join me in making breast cancer a thing of the past
