WOW!! Well I don't even know where to begin with this page! This year has certainly made my relationship with Avon39 that much more important and personal! 

Back in February during my routine mammogram, the technicians and doctors found something but they weren't sure what it was. So a week later, I had a digital mammogram done. During that appointment, I had an ultrasound done. Hmm..still not sure what it was, so the following week I came back and had a biopsy done. A week later, I found out I had breast cancer. 

I am grateful that I have a great job with great insurance coverage, a supportive family and resources available. Many, many that are diagnosed do not. These are some of the many reasons I have supported Avon39 and this is my 5th YEAR. So I ask you for help in continuing to support this cause by making a tax-deductable donation. 

This year I will be helping on the bus shuttles, supporting those who will be shuttled to Base Camp. While their bodies may not be able to make the trek 100%, they are still warriors in my eyes. We’re banding together in solidarity and have one goal: to take breast cancer down. So many sisters and mothers and friends have been lost. We see a world without breast cancer for our daughters, nieces, sons and nephews. AVON 39 is a force of change that can’t be stopped. By supporting me with a donation, you’re part of it.
