Dear friends,
It's the time of the year to show support for a very good cause - the fight against breast cancer. Every three minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the US. Most of us know someone or have a relative who went thru breast cancer.
I lost my mother Elena when I was 7 years old. She lost the battle with the Big C after four painful years of treatments.
This is why i am dedicating the fundraising for this event in memory of my mom. All proceeds go to local research institutions or organizations who help women battling cancer.
I am grateful to be in this with my father Kirk who is volunteering for his 9th year to provide safety throughout the walkers' route.
No amount is too small, so please donate, anything will help.
