Hi Friends and Family,

This July, I'll be taking on a long-standing goal of walking the Avon 39. This walk is personal for me - my mom died of breast cancer when she was 34. I'm walking for her, but I'm also walking because breast cancer is personal for a lot of us. I know too many people who have seen their loved ones suffer, and even lose, to this disease. 

I will be walking 39 miles with Pam, my current mom/second mom (yes, I got pretty lucky :). The walk will be through San Francisco and Marin County over the course of two days and will probably take a lot of endurance, moleskin, love, and support. We're really excited and honored to experience this together.

To participate in this event, I will be fundraising $10,000 dollars that will go toward research and treatment. I would love your help getting there. All donations will be managed and distributed by the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. What is particularly special about this organization is that most funds will be distributed locally.
