We all know that there's strength in numbers, so it’s with great strength that we’ll work and walk as a team toward putting an end to the suffering caused by breast cancer. We walk not only in memory of Kathleen White, who lost her valiant fight in 2013 but also for so many others that we know that have or are battling this horrible disease.
Breast Cancer has affected each member of Kathleen's Krusaders and Krew in different ways. There isn't anyone that doesn't know someone that has been affected by breast cancer. But we are walking for so much more than just a cure for breast cancer. The Krusaders firmly believe any advancements towards a cure for breast cancer will help in the efforts to beat all types of cancer.

The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade qualifies under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Launched in 1992, the Crusade is affiliated with the Avon Foundation for Women. The Crusade’s philanthropic commitment is to enable access to medical advances and support services for breast cancer patients, particularly those from vulnerable populations, and to invest in research on the prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of breast cancer. Funding is awarded to beneficiaries ranging from leading cancer centers to community-based breast health programs for awareness and education; screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services; and scientific research.
