Welcome, and thank you for visiting our AVON 39 team page!
We all know that there's strength in numbers, so it’s with great strength that we’ll work and walk toward putting an end to the suffering caused by breast cancer. We each have our reasons for participating - - whether it’s a personal fight with breast cancer, the struggle or loss of a loved one, or a deep commitment to the cause.
We've each made a big commitment. We’ll spend the next few months training to prepare for a walk of up to a marathon and a half. Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations. But because we're in this together, we know that, with your help, we can do it.
Please support our team. You can make a donation on this team page and the donation will go into a pot that will be divided among the team members one month before the walk. If you'd prefer to write a check, just contact Mary and we'll send you the form and information. Remember if you donate $50 or more we will place the name of your loved one who has battled this disease on our walk shirts we will be wearing that weekend. Just let us know the name and if it is in memory or honor of in the comments section when you donate!
All of our team members are not yet listed on the roster so let me introduce you to Team Magic Boobies:
Mary Cignarella (captain)
Pasquale Cignarella
Gen Lynch
Tina Brewer
Susan Austin
Clare Cybak
Christine Templeman
This means the minimum we need to raise is a total of $12,600. We would love to break $15,000. Please check back here frequently to see how we're doing, and thanks in advance for your support!
