2017 will be our 6th year participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Thanks to our extraordinarily generous community and the team's commitment, we have raised over $103,000 the past 5 years. 

This is such an important cause because breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer found in women today. This year, an estimated 40,000 women will die from the disease. Breast cancer takes another life every 14 minutes. Another woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 3 minutes. An estimated three million women and men are living with breast cancer. One million of them don't yet know it.

We all know that there's strength in numbers, so it’s with great strength that we’ll work and walk toward putting an end to the suffering caused by breast cancer. We each have our reasons for participating - - whether it’s a personal fight with breast cancer, the struggle or loss of a loved one, or a deep commitment to the cause.

We've each made a big commitment. We’ll spend the next few months training to prepare for a walk of up to a marathon and a half. Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations. But because we're in this together, we know that, with your help, we can do it.
