Welcome, and thank you for visiting Team Higgins' AVON 39 team page!
The matriarch of our family was Mary "Mimi" Higgins. She faced down breast cancer and it dared never to come back. She is the perfect example of facing this disease with grit and grace.
She set the example for each one of us on how to navigate life and live life to its fullest.
We are up to 6 walkers and some amazing cheerleaders. We've each made a big commitment. We are about 35 days from the event. Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations. We are $1,000 away from our goal.
Please support our team by making a donation to our Team Higgins site. Please help us get over the hurdle.
With your help, we will find a cure and make sure people get the treatment they need and deserve.

About Avon Breast Cancer Crusade
The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade qualifies under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Launched in 1992, the Crusade is affiliated with the Avon Foundation for Women. The Crusade’s philanthropic commitment is to enable access to medical advances and support services for breast cancer patients, particularly those from vulnerable populations, and to invest in research on the prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of breast cancer. Funding is awarded to beneficiaries ranging from leading cancer centers to community-based breast health programs for awareness and education; screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services; and scientific research.
