Thanks for visiting my Avon Walk Page for the Avon Walk Santa Barbara! This will be my 29th marathon walk. I have crewed in 7 previous marathon walks and walked in 21! This will be my 22th time as a walker!

Dad  will be walking with me in DC in May 2017. we would like to be use that the walker accounts are full, so would prefer that you donate there. 

We will be having our usual fundraising events for this and the other walks in which we plan to participate. We look forward to seeing you at or picking up donations for our spring, summer and fall fundraising yard sales. Awareness item and custom jewelry sales are ongoing as are Lyle's custom knitting and crochet projects. We hope to update our website soon. Watch this space for updates.  

Thank you for all of your support over the years. Our walks are dedicated to the celebration of survivors and memory of those whom we have lost. With your help we can increase the first number and slow the progress of the second.

**Begin Avon prepared message** Thanks for visiting my Avon Walk page! I've committed to participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It's a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next several months training and fundraising. But breast cancer is a big disease, one that still affects far too many people, and I'm determined to do everything I can to help put an end to it.

The money I raise will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those who most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures. I'll be just one of thousands of people who will walk up to 39.3 miles over two days, raising awareness promoting education. 

I can't do it without your help. Though I'm required to raise at least $1,800 to walk in the event, I plan to raise much more! I hope that I can count on your support.
