Thanks for visiting my Avon Walk page! I've committed to participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer 20This will be my 8th year walking.
You all know very well at this point the reasons I am walking... I am convinced we are making a great difference and something good is coming out of it.
I am turning 53 years old this year. I will also celebrate in a couple of months 11 years since receiving the kidney transplant from someone who saved my life. In many, many ways, she made me a better person. I walk because I became that person.
I commited to raising 1,800$ for the walk. I do hope some of you will help me reach this goal, a goal that would allow me to actually walk the 39 miles. These money will help lots of people who otherwise don't have the means to get the treatment and care they need.
