Hi Everyone!
Team0 (The Oprah Magazine for the July 23-24, 2016 San Francisco AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer event is ready to go! We've been training, fundraising, training some more and excited about our event!
Please join us as a team of mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends who share a desire to make a difference – and crush breast cancer. We each have our reasons for participating—whether it’s a personal fight with breast cancer, to honor a lost loved one, or a deep commitment to the cause. Together, we will prepare our minds and bodies, support and encourage each other, raise as much support as we can in this important fight against breast cancer!
Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations, but we know that with your help, we can do it!
If you'd like to join the team, help fundraise, or just make a quick, easy donation without walking, you can do so here. Anyone can participate, and don't worry if you're not in walking shape yet—we’ll spend the next few months training to prepare for AVON 39. Don't forget to check for the training walks scheduled throughout California, as well as other parts of the nited States. Check the other Avon 39 Walk cities for training walks near you! Training Resources has the link to "upcoming Events" and training walls.
The Power of 39 is in all of us. So let’s gear up to kick cancer to the curb! This is no easy feat, but with your support we can help save and improve lives for cancer patients in the San Francisco Bay area and across the nation. Hope to see you on our team!
