Walkers and Crew - complete Early Check-In with three simple steps. This is your opportunity to complete required pre-event tasks online.
• Walkers who complete all three Early Check-In steps are not required to attend Check-In Friday (although we certainly encourage you to join the fun!). Your wristband and luggage tag will be mailed to you and will arrive approximately 4-6 days prior to your Walk Weekend.
• With your Check-In complete, you can concentrate on training, surpassing your next fundraising goal, and preparing for your AVON 39 Weekend!
• If you haven’t met the $1,800 fundraising commitment prior to Check-In Friday, you can still save time by completing steps 1 & 2 online now!
Reminder — all AVON 39 participants must complete a Medical Form. Even if you are not taking advantage of Early Check-In, take a moment now to complete your Medical Form online.
• As a special thank you, Crew who have fundraised $100 or more are eligible to complete Early Check-In and have their wristbands and luggage tags mailed to them in advance. All Crew Members are still required to attend Check-In Friday for the mandatory All-Crew Meeting at 5:00 pm, but we hope this will make your Check-In Friday easier.
• For Crew who have fundraised less than $100, completing your Medical Form and camping preference online now will mean a quicker Check-In Friday and less lines to wait in (although we will not mail your materials in advance). Please pick up your event wristband and luggage tag at Check-In Friday prior to attending the mandatory All-Crew meeting at 5:00 pm.
AGAIN, ALL CREW MEMBERS (regardless of Early Check-In status) are required to attend Check-In Friday for the mandatory All-Crew Meeting at 5:00 pm!
ALL AVON 39 participants must complete a Medical Form. Even if you are not taking advantage of Early Check-In, take a moment to complete your Medical Form online.
Your Medical Form must be received by Monday, April 10.
Note: If you’ve identified yourself on the Medical Form as having certain medical conditions, your medical form might read “Review Required.” This means that the event Medical Team will need to review your form to ensure you’ll be safe and well cared for during the event weekend.
NEW THIS YEAR! Tents will be assigned at Basecamp 39 once you’ve finished walking on Saturday. To complete Early Check-In, please let us know whether or not you are planning on camping so we can save a tent for you.
So where will I drop off my gear if I don't have a tent assignment ahead of time? Youll receive your wristband and luggage tags in the mail if you complete Early Check-In. Please attach the luggage tag to your bag and drop it off at Opening Ceremony at the Gear Truck that corresponds with your last name. Our friendly Crew and Volunteers will help you make sure it gets to the right place!
Not camping, but need your gear transported? Please select 'not camping' during the Early Check-In process. When you receive your luggage tag in the mail after completing Early Check-In, please attach it to your luggage and drop it off at the Gear Truck that corresponds with your last name.
NOTE: Two people per tent. Walking alone or need a tent mate? No problem! Tents will be assigned at Basecamp when you arrive on Saturday evening. If you need a tent mate, come to the tenting area at Basecamp 39 after you're finished walking on Saturday and we'll get you all set up.
I'm walking with a team, but my teammates walk faster than me – will we be able to tent together? Yes! Once the first teammate arrives at Basecamp 39, they can head over to the tenting area and a Gear & Tent volunteer will be able to help them reserve enough tenting spots for the whole team. Volunteers will be there to help set up the tents, too!
If you choose to leave the event to return to the hotel Saturday night, you'll need to purchase a Non-Camping Shuttle wristband here. Please purchase this ahead of time! If you plan to spend the night at Basecamp 39, you will not need this wristband.
For Walkers, your final step is to reach your $1,800 minimum fundraising commitment. Once you have reached that minimum requirement, you can complete your Early Check-In.
Note: There is no fundraising minimum requirement for Crew but — as an extra thank you — Crew Members who raise $100 or more will be eligible to complete Early Check-In and have their wristbands and luggage tags mailed to them!

Walkers who have three green “DONE” buttons by the deadline of Monday, April 10, will receive their materials by mail and do not need to attend Check-In Friday.
• Participants who have not completed all required steps of Early Check-In by the deadline must attend Check-In Friday to complete all necessary administrative tasks, turn in additional donations, and receive their event ID, and supplies.
• Walkers who complete Early Check-In are encouraged to attend all other events on Check-In Friday, as this is the kick-off to your AVON 39 Weekend and an opportunity to meet friends, visit SHOP 39 for the 2017 official AVON 39 merchandise, learn about our sponsors, beneficiaries, and so much more!
All Participants who complete Early Check-In will receive a 15% Off Coupon, courtesy of Reebok, for use at the Reebok Store on Check-In Friday! This coupon will be included in the Early Check-In packet that we mail to you.
